TCAPS  Vision, Mission, and Goals reflect the District’s commitment to educational excellence in a caring school climate: Vision Statement In partnership with a caring community, Traverse City Area Public Schools will prepare every student with the knowledge and strategies for a lifetime of successful learning and responsible global citizenship. Mission Statement The mission of Traverse City Area Public Schools is to ensure successful academic achievement for all students. District Goals All students will make a minimum of a year's growth annually and demonstrate grade level proficiency in language arts, math,  science, and social studies. All communication will increase support and engagement among students, staff, parents, and community for improved  relationships and student achievement.
