12/16/10 IPR's Points North Interview
 with Director Vicki Abeles

Race to Nowhere - Did You See It? Share Your Thoughts
For those of you who had the chance to view the documentary, Race to Nowhere, on December 15th at the State Theatre we would love to hear from you.  You are invited to share your perspectives in a very short, 4 question survey. Click here to begin survey.

Director Vicki Abeles turns the personal political, igniting a national conversation in her new documentary about the pressures faced by American schoolchildren and their teachers in a system and culture obsessed with the illusion of achievement, competition, and the pressure to perform.

Race to Nowhere is a call to mobilize families, educators, and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens.

Thank you to Financial & Investment Management Group, Ltd. (FIM) who has generously stepped forward to fund this project. There will be a $10 ticket charge for adults. With every adult ticket purchased, one free student ticket will be made available. Proceeds from the screeninig will go toward a Learn and Serve program.
