Traverse City Area Public Schools is offering local businesses and non-profit organizations a perfect way to capture the attention of school audiences while helping to boost funding for education.
New, for the 2011-2012 school year, sponsorship opportunities will be available at Thirlby Field stadium, TCAPS’ middle schools and high schools, and the Lars Hockstad Auditorium. Sponsorship program options include signage, electronic school newsletters, and Web site venues for local businesses and non-profit organizations to share their messages in support of education. We are enthused to work with you to create value-added sponsorship opportunities that work for your organization and that generate needed resources for TCAPS.
TCAPS is recognized for our excellence in the quality and variety of outstanding programs and extracurricular offerings that we offer for our students. We believe these important learning experiences help inspire and engage students to find their passion and reach their potential.
Our school district is known as an active partner in the community. Now we need our community’s support more than ever to sustain our school district’s unwavering commitment to students. TCAPS is seeking sponsorship support to help maintain athletic program opportunities for students and to support essential communications with our students, families, and the community.
TCAPS wants to maintain beneficial offerings for students and families in two key areas for the coming school year that are in great need of funding support:
- Athletic and extracurricular opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school students through the TCAPS Learning Enrichment and Athletic Program (LEAP)
- School newsletters for parents that will now be published electronically
Sponsorship opportunities include:
- Thirlby Field Banners
12 sponsorship banner placements available in select interior & exterior locations at TCAPS' Thirlby Field. Share your message with over 20,000 spectoators who visit Thirlby annually.
- On-Campus Signs
Share your message on tastefully displayed signs located inside TCAPS' middle schools, high schools, and outside the entrance of Lars Hockstad Auditorium (venue of the Traverse City Film Festival)
- School Newsletters
Share your message with TCAPS' 10,000+ students and families by purchasing sponsor space in TCAPS' electronic school newsletters. Sponsor the school(s) of your choice.
- TCAPS Web Site
Share your message on the District TCAPS Web site which averages over 100,000 views per month.

Michigan Businesses for Michigan Schools
 TCAPS is also partnering with the Michigan Businesses for Michigan Schools program to provide display boards at select local high traffic locations to host space for your business cards.
