Early Childhood Opportunities

TCAPS Early Childhood Programs provide our youngest learners the opportunities to create, explore, think, and reason in environments that are nurturing, respectful, engaging, and fun. Early Childhood is where a lifetime of success begins!

Early Childhood education and preschool programs produce the highest return on investment by ensuring children are ready to learn with a sound developmental foundation for school success.

Current Projects/Programs Include (but not limited to):

Preschool Program-Our goal is to make preschool available for all children!

Preschool Programs address each child’s individual developmental needs, with the emphasis on literacy and language development. Children engage in arts and crafts, creative games, science and nature projects, computers, productive play, and rest and children receive social, physical, emotional, and intellectual stimulation throughout their day. Affordable, high quality preschool options for more families are greatly needed in our region. Your support can help fund age-appropriate classroom materials to offset program costs.


Tuition Assistance Fund

Many families are in need of support for childcare but may not meet the household income requirements to receive funds through the Department of Human Services. By supporting Early Childhood, funds can be used to help families using Preschool and extended day services.
