Alumni Network

Traverse City Area Public Schools is reaching out to reconnect with our alumni. The Alumni Network is working to build its alumni database. Our goal for the Network is to engage alumni and supporters of TCAPS schools through networking, creation of an endowment legacy, and by providing volunteer opportunities to enrich learning for TCAPS students. Are you a TCAPS alumni? Click here to sign up on the TCAPS Alumni registry. Donate now to help support alumni efforts.

Anti-Bullying Initiative

TCAPS has adopted the most researched and best-known bullying prevention program available today for grades K-12 called the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP). OBPP provides a common language and strategy to use across the district. Donations to our anti-bullying initiative will help offset the costs to purchase the program and materials used in the curriculum. Community partners include Conflict Resolution Services’ Beyond Bullying in Northern Michigan program and Building Bridges with Music. Donate Now.

Interpreter (Translation Services)

Translation and interpreter services are available to students and families with a primary language other than English. Services are used to ensure successful academic achievement for all students. Services are helpful in engaging parents in their student's education and include, but are not limited to: interpreter services for parent teacher conferences, curriculum discussions, written communications with parents, etc. Make a donation for Student Services now.

iPads for Autism Program

Click here to make a donation to the iPads for Autism programThe iPads for Autism pilot program, launched by Traverse City Area Public Schools in 2011, provided iPads to nine students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Aspergers Syndrome. The iPads are loaded with apps specially selected for each student to improve communication and social skills and connect with the student in a way only technology can. With your help, our goal is to put one of these devices into the hands of *all* TCAPS students who can learn and benefit from them.

In addition to a cash donation option for the iPads for Autism program, there is another great way for you to support this program.  Click here to make a donation for iPads now.

CLICK HERE to learn how you can participate in the Traverse Traveler Scavenger Hunt for Autism on Saturday, April 13, 2013.
