ATTENDING AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS

The cost for students to attend a WMS sporting event is $2 unless you have a sports pass ID (adults are $3 or have a Titan sports pass).  When attending an event in the big gym, remember that locker rooms are for the athletes only.  The hall bathrooms will be open for use.   All non-athlete students must keep their backpack and other items with them in the gym and you must stay in the gym and not roam the halls.  You will not be allowed to go back in the main building.  If you are staying after school to watch the event in the gym, you cannot come down to the gym area until a half hour before the event.  You must either go home with your ride after school or join the Boys and Girls Club.  You must be picked up immediately after the event.  Anyone who does not abide by the rules will be banned from after school activities.

NO CELL PHONES IN SCHOOL

Please remember the school rule that you may NOT have your cell phone with you during the school day. They must be kept turned off and in your locker until the end of the school day at 2:32. If you are found carrying your cell phone with you during the school day it will be taken from you to your wing office to be claimed by your parents.

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION

West Middle School is participating in the “Boxtops for Education” program. All WMS offices have a collection box. Before you throw out those empty boxes or juice bottles at home, check to see if they are companies that participate in this great school fundraiser. Cut out the “Official Coupon” and bring it to school to put in any collection box. All sorts of equipment and supplies can be acquired through this program so please bring in those “Boxtop for Education” coupons!
